چکیده

We study the unitarized meson-baryon scattering amplitude at leading order in strangeness $S=-1$ sector using time-ordered perturbation theory for a manifestly Lorentz-invariant formulation of chiral effective field theory. By solving coupled-channel integral equations with full off-shell dependence potential and applying subtractive renormalization, we analyze renormalized amplitudes obtain two-pole structure $\Lambda(1405)$ resonance. also point out necessity including higher-order terms.

Chiral Effective Field Theory Beyond the Power Counting Regime

Chiral effective field theory complements numerical simulations of quantum chromodynamics on a spacetime lattice. It provides a model-independent formalism for connecting lattice simulation results at finite volume, and at a variety of quark masses, to the physical region. Knowledge of the power-counting regime of chiral effective field theory, where higher-order terms of the expansion may be r...

Chiral effective field theory on the light front

We propose a new approach to describe baryonic structure in terms of an effective chiral Lagrangian. The state vector of a baryon is defined on the light front of general position ω·x = 0, where ω is an arbitrary light-like four vector. It is then decomposed in Fock components including an increasing number of pions. The maximal number of particles in the state vector is mapped out to the order...

Electromagnetic nucleon-to-delta transition in chiral effective-field theory.

We perform a relativistic chiral effective-field theory calculation of pion electroproduction off the nucleon (e- N --> e- N(pi)) in the delta(1232)-resonance region. After fixing the three low-energy constants, corresponding to the magnetic (M1), electric (E2), and Coulomb (C2) gammaNdelta couplings, our calculation provides a prediction for the momentum transfer and pion-mass dependence of th...

Hyperon-nucleon interaction in chiral effective field theory

Chiral effective field theory (EFT) as proposed in the pioneering works of Weinberg [1] is a powerful tool for the derivation of baryonic forces. In this scheme there is an underlying power counting which allows to improve calculations systematically by going to higher orders in a perturbative expansion. In addition, it is possible to derive twoand corresponding three-body forces as well as ext...

baryon-baryon interactions in chiral effective field theory

We have constructed the leading order strangeness S = −1,−2 baryon-baryon potential in a chiral effective field theory approach. The chiral potential consists of one-pseudoscalar-meson exchanges and non-derivative four-baryon contact terms. The potential, derived using SU(3) f symmetry constraints, contains six independent low-energy coefficients. We have solved a regularized Lippmann-Schwinger...
